 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. – James 1:27
Bro. John Mohana Prakash lost his father and mother as a young man. God has put a burden in His heart to share the Love of Christ with the orphan children. In accordance the orphanage visit was recently launched as a facet of Jesus The Joy Ministries.
We visit orphanages to tell the children that there is a God who loves them and cares for them and that He will bless them with a bright future as below :
I will bless you with a future filled with hope a future of success, not of suffering. Jeremiah 29:11
Recently God opened doors for us to visit Amaithi Illam an orphanage of seventy children in Villivakkam, Chennai.
The children were overjoyed to have us with them. We had a glorious time of Praise and Worship, following which Sis. Premalatha John spoke to the girls and encouraged them from her personal life narrating how God comforted her, took care of her and provided her needs after she lost her father at an early age.
Bro. John Mohana Prakash spoke to the children and encouraged them saying that God loves them and has a future for them. The ministry was able to provide umbrellas to the children which they desperately needed to go to school during the rainy season.
The evening came to an end with a stupendous dinner provided for the children by Bro. Anand & family.
